Shutterstock is an international picture agency with most Abonennten and nearly everything would be downloaded. Extended licence were already sold by $28, too. Gives sales "on Demand" between 1 and 3 USD be this one sometimes, too

Hint: The selection for the photo as a photographer is rock-hard. Of 10 submitted pictures 7 must create the brutal quality criteria. If not, it may tried after a month break again. This hurdle is only for patient ones but it pays off and one should not throw the towel early. Do not reach over-sharped or out of focus. Fotolia is one of the large and fast growing microstock agencies which operating worldwide. After the registration you can immediately get cracking since no entrance examination is carried out. The sales figures are splendid and the selection of the photos generous. Since new Fotolia backs in addition an Abo system to establish himself also in this segment. The download price is set extremely down and one will see whether the number of downloads increases also positively for the supplier through this.

As a photographer you can offer your pictures or/and involve at the photo community. At the picture sales the profit-sharing can between 50% (if the picture only for Panthermedia or a higher-priced agency is offered) or 30% are selected, (if the picture is offered also for a cheaper agency).

Hint: The keywording only should refer to the elements contained in the picture. The assignment of the category also should be apt. Do not upload all pictures of a similar series high ,store only some chosen ones. Property-releases were not necessary for buildings which photographed from a public place (This should be held tight in the remark). At a rejection of over 30% the FTP entrance is closed (therefore respect the quality of your photos before you upload).

Result: Input difficulty and time expensive. The selection is a little slow. The sales are not continuous, for this the earnings per photo is larger. The editorial staff classified photos as "recommendable" or "editorial tip", further the pictures lands in the searching hierarchy in front. Panthermedia is a professional picture agency with a nice team.

So photographers get 60% of the net selling price of a motive less a flat rate for other expenses which the Bildmaschine has to pay.

Hint:Pictures of a series can be input with the keyword-tool in a fast gateway - this saves much time. Not exclusive pictures may be offered without problems also for other agencies.

Result:The sales figures are rather moderate, price in the middle segment. Due to the simple ones and the selling price inputs per picture placing of photos are no fault. The payment to the photographer is carried out quarterly as of a minimum amount of €25.
